Directions: Drive east out of town on route 2, turn right on Marion Ave., which is a residential street. Park along the road, being careful not to interfere with private driveways. The trail follows along Notch Brook.
Description: The water tumbles down about 50ft. Although the amount of water varies, generally it is a heavy flow. The folds in the rock that creat the falls are worth seeing in themselves. The large hemlocks in the overstory keep the temperature down; the area, virtually in the middle of town, is surprisingly wild and undeveloped.
